What is airbrush tanning?
Airbrush tanning is a process that uses an air compressor and airbrush delivery system to gently and evenly apply tanning solution to the skin. When properly applied, the result is a beautiful tan appearance.
Is sunless tanning safe?
Yes, it is. The FDA approved Dihydroxyacetone (DHA), a sugar cane derivative that results in the tan, for safety in 1973. When applied to the skin, DHA penetrates only the top layer of skin — it does not absorb into the body or bloodstream.
How long does a Sunset Mist tanning session take?
An entire body may be airbrushed and dried in approximately 25 to 30 minutes. It is important that the solution dry on the skin prior to putting your clothes back on to avoid smearing or removing solution from the skin.

Yes! Our Mobile Airbrush Tanning service provides you with the convenience of getting the perfect Sunset Mist tan at your location. It’s also great for tanning parties and special occasions. How long will my Sunset Mist tan last?
Your Sunset Mist tan will usually last 8-10 days. To maximize the life of the tan, exfoliate thoroughly using the Aviva Exfoliant prior to application and moisturize generously with the Aviva Moisturizing Crème each day after the application.
My skin type always burns (never tan) in the sun. Will I be able to get a sunless tan?
Absolutely. If you have very fair skin, and always burn in the sun and therefore have never been able to tan, you can achieve a sunless tan. With a Sunset Mist tan, you will look terrific.
What should I wear during my Sunset Mist tanning session?
Our clients are encouraged to wear as much or as little as they are comfortable to receive their ideal tan. If needed, we provide disposable undergarments for both women and men for use during your session.
How long should I wait after my Sunset Mist tanning session before bathing?
You should wait a minimum of six (6) hours after the session to bathe. Waiting longer is preferred because doing so allows the tanning agents to interact with skin longer, producing a deeper tan. With our bronzer, you can expect a full tan to develop in approximately 6 hours. Bathing will remove the initial tan created by the water-soluble cosmetic bronzer, but the tanning agents will remain and develop a lasting tan.
Will my skin turn orange?
NO! We use only premium grade solutions designed specifically to give you a natural color — a sun-kissed bronze glow that looks like you just walked off the beach — not an "orange" or artificial-looking color. Plus, a Sunset Mist tan fades like a real tan.
Will the sunless tanning solutions stain my clothes?
Generally, we recommend that our clients wear garments that are loose and dark in color after an application. However, a Sunset Mist tan dries quickly and is water-based so they rarely transfer to clothing or bed sheets. If any color does get transferred to clothing, it can be easily washed in a normal cycle and will not stain.
Do your sunless tanning solutions contain fragrances?
No. First, our sunless tanning solution is designed specifically for people with hypersensitive skin. Second, no one wants a sunless tanning solution that smells too flowery, fruity or sweet. Not only can these fragrances be very unpleasant, but also, our male clients appreciate our fragrance-free solutions.
